Julie Geyer

Julie Geyer is an incoming PhD student in Charles Mitchell’s lab at UNC Chapel Hill. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and has a background in vector biology, marine ecology and limnology. Julie is interested in understanding how the microbiome of tall fescue might mediate against pathogen proliferation throughout a host population, while also examining potential communicative pathways between systemic endophytes or between host plants.
